MANILA, Philippines –  Jeffrey Cerna headlines another 10-round bout in tonight’s episode of Rod Nazario’s In This Corner set 7-8 p.m. over NBN-4.

A regular fixture in the only boxing program on primetime presented by Ginebra San Miguel, San Miguel Beer, Purefoods, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) and Petron, the 21-year-old Cerna will be up against Rodel Quilaton in the non-title bout set at flyweight.

Cerna comes from the Wow boxing stable, while Quilaton represents the Elorde Shaw boxing gym.

The fight served as the main supporting match of the World Boxing Organization (WBO) Youth Asia Pacific flyweight championship between Rey Perez and John Paul Bautista.

Ariel Araja of the Brusmick International Boxing Promotions put up the boxing card recently held at the Balibago Sports Complex in Sta. Rosa City, Laguna. Araja owns the Brusmick boxing stables based in Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
