NCA holds derby at Ynares Sports

MANILA, Philippines –  The National Cockers Alliance holds another topnotch derby on Tuesday featuring the country’s leading breeders at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

NCA world champion Johnny Jalandoni of Negros, Pipo Soliman, Agusan Group, R. Tambis, Ramon Preza, Boy Valenzuela, Ferdie Eusebio, Amboy Manlapaz, Tony Lasala and Antipolo-Ilocos Group head the list of invited participants in the event hosted by Jun Mendoza, Jun Topacio and the Firefly Group.

Others in the fold are Tommy Chua and Osang dela Cruz, Gerry Ramos, Elmer Nepomuceno, Rene Medina, Manny and Armand Santos, Bebot Roxas, Ruel Ricafort, Jun Santiago, Rudy Albano, Jimmy Ang and Efren Canlas.

Meanwhile, Patrick Antonio emerged the solo champion in last week’s NCA derby with his entry Pasay 5-cock March 18 Hillside besting a top field that included Jimafer BG of Canlas, Jade Resort-1 of Santos, Against All Odds of Ramos and BST Binangonan of Boy Torres.

The next NCA derby will be held March 29.
