Paref versus St. Paul for WVL crown

MANILA, Philippines –  Paref-Rosehill School struggled past Holy Family School, 25-18, 18-25, 25-14, to arrange a final match with St. Paul College-Makati for the 17-Under Developmental championship of the 15th Women’s Volleyball League recently.

St. Paul earlier earned the first final berth in the tournament organized by the BEST Center and sponsored by Milo, by trouncing La Salle College Antipolo-A, 25-16, 25-23.

The championship will be held at the UP College of Human Kinetics gym on Sunday.

In the 17-Under Competitive Division, St. Scholastica’s College Manila and Colegio San Agustin will dispute the crown after the former beat UP Integrated School, 25-11, 25-11.

CSA turned back Hope Christian School, 15-25, 25-21, 25-23, in the other semis duel.

Colegio San Agustin also advanced to the 13-Under final after its A squad dropped its Team B, 25-6, 25-9. Jubilee Christian Academy, which rocked St. Scho, 15-25, 25-18, 25-23, took the other finals berth.
