Accel-2010 sports photo contest up
MANILA, Philippines – Top sports apparel Accel is sponsoring the Accel-2010 sports photo contest which offers a total purse of P 62,000 including the P 25,000 for the first prize winner.
Open to all professional photographers covering sports, the contest will accept photographs taken and published from Jan. 1-Dec. 31, 2010. Participants may submit more than one entry but will only win the higher award.
“This is in recognition of the photographers’ role in helping generate interest in the sports, and we are proud to be in the forefront of this undertakings,” said Accel president Willie Ortiz.
The second placer will get P15,000 while third-fifth finishers will receive P 10,000, P7,000, and P5,000 and a plaque, respectively.
Submission of entries starts on February 1, 2011, and it will end on February 15, 2011.
