La Sallians vie in Bloemen Cup

MANILA, Philippines –  A large field of La Sallians is expected to vie for honors in the 19th Drive For-A-Cause, dubbed Br. Alphonsus Bloemen Cup, slated tomorrow at the Sherwood Hills Golf Club.

The Bloemen Cup will kick off the La Salle Centennial Golf Tour, being the first leg of a series of seven golf tournaments hosted by different alumni associations of the La Salle alumni community. The tour was conceived of to promote awareness through golf of the La Salle Brothers’ 100-year presence in the Philippines.

An entry fee of P2,500 (P1,500 for Sherwood members) is set for the tournament, which offers competitions in Classes A, B, C, Seniors and Batches. The fee is inclusive of green fees, use of golf carts, lunch, giveaways, raffle and two mulligans.

The event is sponsored by Sherwood Hills, Manila Memorial Park, Luzviminda, Fernandina 88 Suites, DLSAA, Philex Mining Corp., Discovery Suites, Brothers Burger, One Tagaytay Place, Microtel Inns and Suites, Unionbank, Whealth Enterprises and C! Magazine.
