St. Francis, LPC eye UCLAA finals

MANILA, Philippines –  St. Francis of Assisi and Las Piñas College, holding twice-to-beat incentives, gun for berths in the finals as Final Four action in the third UCLAA basketball tournament reels off today at the San Andres Gym.

SFAC (6-0) battles De Ocampo Memorial College (3-3) at 10 a.m., while LPC (5-1) faces Philippine College of Criminology (4-2) at 11:30. Knockout matches are set Tuesday, if necessary.

PCCR made it to the semis by ousting National College of Business and Arts, 74-63, while DOMC eliminated St. Dominic Savio, 91-75.

Semifinal matches in the junior division are scheduled next, with PCCR holding a 6-0 slate, University of the East 5-1, Kings Montessori 3-1, SFAC 3-3 and St. Dominic 3-3.
