Magnolia rapid chess set Feb 5

MANILA, Philippines - The 37th edition of the First Saturday-Magnolia Beverages rapid chess tournament gets under way Feb. 5 at the Perez Bldg., Doña Soledad St., cor. Australia St., Better Living, Parañaque City.

The champion will receive P3,000 with other category winners receiving prizes in the tournament organized by Barangay Don Bosco Chess Club, headed by Bong Perez, and sponsored by NCFP secretary general and Tagaytay City Mayor Bambol Tolentino, Parañaque Mayor Florencio Bernabe, Vice Mayor Gus Tambunting, Rep. Roilo Golez, Benjo Bernabe, Jun Virata, Hector Tagaysay of Filway Marketing, Anthony Torres of Yazaki Torres and Boy Francisco.
