Del Rosario tops ABC fun tilt
MANILA, Philippines - Noel del Rosario of Unitec Pipes rolled 1379 to beat Ronnie Javier of Medwest by three pins and rule the Architects Bowling Club fun game at the Green Valley lanes in Pasig City last week.
Denis Jalandoon of Ta-tong scored 1373, Jerry Cham of Boysen Paints made 1355 and Joan Mendoza of Philflex Wires and Cables also had a 1355 to finish third, fourth and fifth, respectively, in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.
Duraflex 275 club sponsor had Denis Jalandoon as the first player to achieve such feat with 279 pinfalls. Philflex high game 250 club sponsor has another bowler, Boyet Libiran with 259.
Meanwhile, action in the event, backed by Concrete Ventures, Famcor, DN Steel, Boysen Knoxout/Virtuoso, Crown Pipes, Supreme Pipes Corp., ABC Phils. ProActive Pest Control, Duraflex, Euro Dach, Atlanta Tiles, Hocheng Phils., Universal Tech./Pansun, Emerald Vinyl, American Wires, Firefly-Royu and SP&A Const., resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of the first monthly championship, also at the Green Valley lanes.
