MANILA, Philippines – Mon Guerrero won the overall championship in the 11th Domingo M. Guevara Sr. Memorial golf tournament at the Wack Wack Golf and Country Club in Mandaluyong City recenty.
But it was Mark Laurel who emerged the biggest winner when he took home a brand-new Toyota Vios donated by Toyota Pasong Tamo for scoring a hole-in-one.
Rene Chua, meanwhile, topped the West course members division with Alex Prieto and Benjie Guevara finishing second and third, respectively, in Group I.
Andrew Huang ruled Group 2 with Cesar Santos placing second and Jun Hallare ending up third.
Joey Monfort took the Group 3 plum, beating Rizalino Favila and Antonio Ocampo, who finished second and third, respectively.
Claro Ben Lim Jr. reigned in the East course division with Boy Ramos and Luis Tan Jr. taking the next two places, respectively.
Liza Lopez dominated the ladies division with Joanna Lim and Jay Crisologo finishing second and third, respectively.
Tonito Payumo captured the guest division crown with Nick Locsin placing second and Don Padilla winding up third in the tournament.
