US Big 3 schools hold Joint Golf Cup

MANILA, Philippines - Over 130 players from the Harvard, Northwestern-Kellogg and Wharton-Penn Alumni Associations see action in the Joint Golf Cup slated Jan. 28 at Wack Wack Golf and Country Club in Mandaluyong.

Trade and Industry Secretary Gregory Domingo, a Wharton School alumnus, will hit the ceremonial drive for the event featuring players representing the three associations and their friends. Registration is set at 6 a.m. with the shotgun start tee-off at 7 a.m.

Backing the event are major sponsors PLDT-Smart, First Gen, Megaworld, San Miguel Corp. SM Development Corporation and Unilab.

The “big three” aim to provide business leaders and alumni the opportunity to expand their personal and professional network as well as strengthen the membership of the respective alumni association. Harvard University, Northwestern University and University of Pennsylvania have been consistently ranked by the Financial Times as the best schools to go for college and graduate studies.
