Ligon heads World Slasher Cup semifinal cast

MANILA, Philippines - Sonny Lagon of Blue Blade Gamefarm scored all but one of its matches in the 2-cock prelims Tuesday and lead the semifinalists in the World Slasher Cup set today at the Araneta Coliseum.

No less than 120 matches will vie for berths in the finals with the first match set to fire off at 10 a.m.

Joining Lagon in the semis are PTK Country Road and PTK Yucatan of two-time WSC champ Peping Ricafort, Zaldy Sandoval, who swept their four matches through entries Lucky Charm 1 & 2, while 2008 champ Rolly Gabon had three wins and one draw (JLRG Doc-Hen Palawan-1).
