Coach E offers varsity training program
MANILA, Philippines - Coach E Basketball School offers a first-ever Varsity Training Program for players who would want to learn the fundamentals in eyeing slots for their school and community teams.
No less than Coach E founder Eric Altamirano will monitor the program, which will start with the Advanced Individual Skills development program for varsity players 8 to 16 years old.
International Basketball Academy’s Jod Penson said the special program not only focuses on the fundamentals but also on the skills needed for a player to succeed in competitive environments like school and barangay leagues.
“With so many aspiring players in Philippines, it is important for one to be fundamentally sound and also to be ready to play under a competitive environment,” said Penson.

Meanwhile, walk-in enrolees are still welcome in regular Coach E classes at Club 650 in Libis, The Zone in Makati, Xavier School in San Juan and San Beda Alabang. The schedules are at Xavier in San Juan (Monday and Thursday from 4-6 p.m.), Club 650 in Libis (Friday from 5-7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-12 noon), The Zone in Makati (Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon) and at San Beda Alabang (Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 12 noon).
