Pacquiao heads field in NCA world derby

MANILA, Philippines –  Boxing champion Manny Pacquiao joins the power-packed cast of breeders competing in the National Cockers Alliance (NCA) World Championship Derby slated Jan. 11, 13 and 15 at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.

Leading the field are Gerry Ramos, Elmer Nepomuceno, Ricky Magtoto, Rudy Albano, Cesar Dy, Eddie Gonzales, Atong Ang, Bebot Roxas, Ruel Ricafort, Goto Violago, Ito Ynares, Ramon Preza, Mario Villamor, Jun Topacio, Joey and Boboy delos Santos;

Alex and Gerry Escalona, Emil Chua, Jun Mendoza, Gerry Fevidal, Ferdie Buensalida, Boy Marso, JV Magsaysay, Pol Estrelado, Ricky Reyes, Claude Bautista, Bong Revilla, Tony Marfori, Lito Orillaza, Nestor Mercado, Philip Chiongbian, Ramon Mansenares and Blandy Tolentino.

Reigning champion and cocker of the year awardee James Uy and Patrick Antonio, the 2009 NCA winner, are also in the fold, both ready to foil Pacquiao’s bid in the event sponsored by Sagupaan Complexor.
