MANILA, Philippines – No other way to beat the New Year than with a bang as Rod Nazario’s In This Corner offers boxing fans the exhilarating fight between Merlito Sabillo and Donnie Mabao for the Philippine mini-flyweight championship.

Presented by long-time sponsors Ginebra San Miguel, San Miguel Beer, Purefoods, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), Biogenic Isopropyl Alcohol and Petron, primetime TV’s no. 1 boxing program is aired over NBN-4 from 7-8 p.m.

Known as the “Tiger,” Sabilo from Toboso, Negros Occidental, has been undefeated in 13 fights (with 5 KOs) going into the 12-round bout held at the PAGCOR Hotel and Casino in Bacolod.
