Prima Open up next year
MANILA, Philippines - Players in all age groups from clubs and universities are invited to compete in the 2011 Prima Pasta Invitational Badminton Open slated Feb. 5, 6, 12 and 13 at the Powersmash on Pasong Tamo, Makati.
The annual event, supported by Prima Pasta, Boysen Paints, RFM, Mabz Builders, Pioneer Life, Prince, ILO Construction, Monolith Construction, Promax Intl., Carlton and Amstar, is also inviting all present and former national players to compete.
National players are expected to play in the men’s doubles open, mixed doubles open, junior singles open (boys and girls) and women’s doubles (level A elite). Other players will play in B,C,D,E,F, and G (beginner) and age groups.
The leveling dates are Jan. 8, 15, 22 and 29 (all Saturdays) at the Powersmash badminton court.
Event chairman is Team Prima owner and manager Alex Lim. Tournament directors are Rene Reyes and Jessie Alonzo.
