MANILA, Philippines - The Ford Focus-TRS racing team reasserted its supremacy in the second leg of the Philippine Production Car Championship at the Batangas Racing Circuit.
Top Driver Challenge winner Alvin Ng and Singaporean Marcus Wong displayed grit and determination in Races 5 and 6 as they captured separate victories for the Ford Focus-TRS Racing team. With their feats, the team firmed up its hold of the 1-2 spots in the points tally this season. Both Ng and Wong struggled early in both races as they endured five lead changes throughout.
Ng was able to overtake on the last lap to claim the top prize in Race 5 with Wong behind him to secure the 1-2 finish. On Race 6, Wong has a near-perfect performance as he controlled the top spot most of the way to hand the team the season’s points lead.
