MANILA, Philippines - The Ramon Magsaysay Chess Club, Inc. will hold the 3-in-1 Chess Arbitration Seminar (Coaching, Organizing and Arbitration) on Nov. 20-21 at the Ramon Magsaysay High School, Cubao, Quezon City.
The event, to be held in cooperation with the Chess Arbiters Association of the Phils. (CAAP), is open to all coaches, teachers, amateurs, professionals or any individuals who want to learn the FIDE Laws of Chess and the basic skills of correct officiating in chess tournaments.
International arbiters, led by Gene Poliarco and Erwin Carag, and other national arbiters, are the primary lecturers and facilitators of this seminar.
Meanwhile, the CAAP 2050 and under non-master rapid chess tournament will be held Nov. 21 at the Ramon Magsaysay High School, Cubao, Quezon City.
Registration fee is P250 and P150 for kiddies and ladies.
