Brainiac fencing challenge slated

MANILA, Philippines - The first Vicious Brainiac Recreational Tri-Weapon Fencing Challenge, featuring the country’s top and upcoming fencers, will be held Nov. 20-21 at the Philsports Complex Fencing Hall.

The event, set from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., is sanctioned by the Philippine Fencing Association (PFA) and sponsored by Carmex Lip Balm, RFM Corp., maker of Alo Youth aloe vera drink and Vitwater water + benefits, and Burlington: The Sock Authority.

The tournament is aimed at providing the varsity squads a venue where they can hone their talent and skills in preparation for the UAAP fencing competitions next month.
