SHS-AdC 5, USLS in final
ILOILO, Philippines – University of St. La Salle (USLS) and Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu (SHS-AdC) scored convincing wins to seal berths in the finals of the BEST Center SBP-Passerelle Visayas Regional Finals.
Pre-tournament favorite USLS overcame defending champion Ateneo de Iloilo, 57-29, then crushed Colegio de la Purisima Concepcion College (CPC) of Roxas City, 85-35, to earn a berth in the SBP finals slot in the tournament sponsored by Milo.
The SHS-AdC Magis Eagles cruised to a 69-28 win over CPC Roxas and later dealt Ateneo a 54-25 rout for the other SBP slot.
Three-peat seeking SHS-AdC defeated St. John’s Institute (SJI) of Bacolod, 107-57, before trashing CPC Roxas, 100-43, to earn the first finals berth in the Passerelle division.
