MANILA, Philippines –  A four-fight special capped by the 12-round bout for the Philippine flyweight championship comprises this week’s episode of Rod Nazario’s In This Corner over NBN 4.

Unbeaten Art “El Matador” Villanueva faces Brix “Bomb” Rey for the RP 106-pound title belt in the main event of the 7-8 p.m. boxing show presented by Ginebra San Miguel, San Miguel Beer, Purefoods, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), Biogenic Isopropyl Alcohol and Petron.

Kicking off the only primetime boxing program in television today is the four-rounder between Jerry “Pitbull” Nardo against Francisco Solis.

Leonardo Guardiano then takes on Andy Adajar in a similar four-round bout, before John John Guanzon fights Regie Binueza over six rounds in the third preliminary offering.

All bouts were part of a big boxing card held recently at the PAGCOR Hotel and Casino in Bacolod City.
