MCC kiddies, adults tiff

MANILA, Philippines –  The one-day event of MCC 1850 below semi-active chess for kiddies and adults reel off at 10 a.m. today at Mang Inasal-Eton Mall Branch opposite Robinsons Galeria in Mandaluyong City.

The tournament is divided into sections – kiddies 12-under and adults whose NCFP ratings are not over 1850. Both sections will apply the five-round Swiss System.

The one-day tourney will use the 15 minutes time control for the first three rounds.

The champion in the adult section will get P3,000 and the kiddie champ P1,500.

 Cash prizes are broken down to five places. Top category performers in both sections will also be awarded consolation prizes and medals.
