MANILA, Philippines - Tony Lascuña kept his run of under-par scores, closing out with a 69 to emerge the best Filipino finisher at joint 23rd in the Iskandar Johor Open dominated by three-time major winner Padraig Harrington at the Horizon Hills Golf and Country Club in Johor Bahru, Malaysia yesterday.
Lascuña birdied three of the last nine holes to finish with a 33 for a 69 and a 72-hole aggregate of seven-under 209. Erstwhile RP frontrunner Frankie Miñoza settled for a 72-282 for a share of 28th.
Artemio Murakami also carded a 69 for 283 and a share of 33th while Juvic Pagunsan fired a 68 for joint 38th at 284 and Angelo Que wound up with a 285 after a 73.
Harrington also closed out with a 69 to cap his domination of the event. He finished with a 20-under 268 and beat Noh Seung-yul by three strokes.
