QC lawyer tops SM bowling
MANILA, Philippines - Mario Quinit outlasted Jose Rolly Delideli in their two-game showdown to rule the Lipton national finals of the ninth SM Bowling Cup at SM Bowling Center at SM City Fairview recently.
Quinit, a prosecutor at the Office of the Ombudsman in QC, tallied 554 pinfalls to beat Delideli and win a brand-new A5 Sedan courtesy of Chery Cars.
Quinit topped the 10-game elimination round among the 24 final competitors with a 2118 total for the first finals berth.
Jessie Albano (No. 2), Delideli (No. 3), first ninth SM Cup perfect-gamer Jong Enriquez (No. 4), Benjamin Jarantilla (No. 5) and Christian Dagdagan (No. 6 ) disputed the other slot in the stepladder phase.
Meanwhile, the national finals for the third and final leg is on Dec. 19 with a brand-new Chery Tiggo up for grabs in the event sponsored by Pepsi, Lipton, Gatorade, Milo, Accel, Boysen, Chery Cars, SM Storyland, and Science Discovery Center.
