Laurente vs Thai in Elorde boxing

MANILA, Philippines - The Johnny Elorde Management International will hold another edition of the Boxing Kontra Droga on Saturday with world rated and former Orient champion Dennis Laurente heading the blockbuster fight card at the Flash Grand ballroom of the Elorde Sports Center in Sucat.

Laurente takes on the tough Thai opponent KompikatSitsaitong in 10 rounds which will serve as the Filipino’s buildup for his stint in Las Vegas in the undercard of a fight to be promoted by Bob Arum of Top Rank Promotions in November.

Laurente is out to improve his ratings to get a shot at a world crown. He has been campaigning in America the last two years, winning his last six fights.
