MANILA, Philippines - Basti Escalante and Christopher Joseph “CJ” Tsui of the Tuason Racing School-Racing Career Management Program (TRS-RCMP) try to firm up their respective final bids in the sixth and penultimate leg of the 2010 Magnolia Purewater Karting Super Series at Clark International Speedway tomorrow.
Basti seeks another win in a bid to keep the lead in the Mini-ROK. The Grade 6 De La Salle-Zobel student carries 305 points or a 20-point advantage over second-running Aira Medrano.
Tsui, on the other hand, hopes to improve his second place overall ranking in the Formula SL Novice class with 212 points.
Both karters, backed by Tuason Racing School, Ready2Race and OMP, underwent strict physical, racing and coaching regimen of the TRS-RCMP, designed by multi-discipline racing titlists JP and Mike Tuason and patterned after the training programs used by F1 drivers.
“Their achievements so far already proved the success of our thrusts and modules under the TRS-RCMP. We’re confident of their chances and hopefully, capture the titles at season’s end,” said Mike Tuason, TRS vice president of operations.
