MANILA, Philippines - Gerry Ramos and Mario Villamor dominated the opposition and emerged as champions in the National Cockers Alliance (NCA) 6-Stag Derby Circuit last Sept. 14.
Ramos’s “Kahit Ano Basta Win” and Villamor’s “Phoenix” scored five points each to take the championship trophy in the event hosted by top cockers Gov. Ito Ynares, the Firefly Group, Elmer Nepomuceno, and Eric dela Rosa.
Runners-up with four points were “WTJ Makati Coliseum” of Lito Orillaza, Vice Mayor Nestor Mercado, V. Sierra, and T. Rañola; “Jimafer BG” of Engr. Efren Canlas, “Relaxamento” of Erid dela Rosa; “Against All Odds” of Gerry Ramos; “Erwin” of Erwin Nepomuceno; and “Camsur” of Ricky Magtoto.
Rounding up the winners roster were “Oct. 10 Paniqui 5-Stag” of Bebot Roxas and “Red Creek” of Arnold Mendoza with 3 1/2 points.
Meanwhile, the next NCA 6-stag derby circuit will be held Sept. 21, at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City. It will be hosted by Osang dela Cruz and Tommy Chua, Ruel Ricafort, James Uy, and Rene Medina.
