Amit vs men at Predator

MANILA, Philippines - Filipinas Rubilen Amit and Iris Ranola will test their skills against the men in the Annual Predator 10-Ball International Championship set Sept. 15-18 at SM City.

Among the men they will be up against are world champions Mika Immonen of Finland, Johnny Archer of the US and reigning world champion Francisco “Django” Bustamante.

The event is produced by Dragon Promotions and sponsored by Simonis Cloth, Min Tables, Yalin Balls, SM City North Edsa, Puyat Sports, Star Billiards, and broadcast on ESPN Star Sports. European airings will be on Eurosport.

Amit first made headlines a few years ago as a surprise finalist at the Women’s World 9-Ball Championship in Taiwan. Last year she defeated Taiwanese legend Shin Mei Liu in the finals to win the Women’s World 10-Ball Championship in Manila.

 Ranola finished second at the US Open in 2008.
