CSA Class '86 stages golf tiff
MANILA, Philippines - The CSA ‘86 Makati Alumni, Inc., a non-stock non-profit organization established by the 230 members of the Silver Jubilee High School Class of 1986 of Colegio San Agustin, will hold the first “AgusTEEnian Golf Classic” tournament at Sta. Elena Golf Club on Sept. 20.
The shotgun start is set at 8 a.m.
The event aims not only to foster camaraderie and fellowship among its members, families and friends but also to help fund the group’s various projects, including the grand alumni homecoming to be attended by at least 500 alumni from here and abroad.
The tournament is also held to support other civic projects such as Carewell (Cancer Resource Wellness) Community Foundation established by a fellow batch-mate, the late Jackie Fernandez-Suntay. Part of the proceeds of the ticket sales and mulligan of the AgusTEEnian Golf Classic will be donated to Carewell.
Tickets are pegged at P3,500, inclusive of green fee, golf cart, raffle, lunch, giveaways and a chance to win two round trip tickets to Beijing from Cebu Pacific, a new Club Car golf cart, JVC Full HD Pocket camcorder and P100,000 as hole-in-one prizes.
The event, to be played under the System 36 format, will feature individual competitions in Classes A, B and C.
