Charles Corpuz fired 20 points while Bjorn Andrei Casibang and Earvin Josel Jose added 15 and 14, respectively, as the Grey Wolves took a share of the early lead in the 10-team competitions.
Marvin Javier and Samuel Santos produced 15 points apiece for the Bravehearts, who dropped to 1-1.
Joining DBTC atop the field were San Beda College-Alabang and De La Salle-Lipa.
The SBC-A Red Lions waylaid San Pablo Colleges, 97-56, behind the 22-point explosion of James Panaligan and the combined 32 markers of Travis Jonson, Ivan Gallardo and Reynaldo Estanislao.
For their part, the DLSL Chevrons outlasted Letran-Calamba, 74-73. Christopher Yves Abila had 19 while Mark Irwin Miguel had 15 for DLSL.
In juniors action, FAITH stormed to its second straight win and the solo lead via a 67-62 verdict over Don Bosco.
SBC-A and DLSL posted their first triumphs with the Red Cubs annihilating San Pablo Colleges, 104-41, and the Chevron boys prevailing over Letran-Calamba, 66-61.
