3 Kings scuffle with Koreans, face sanction

MANILA, Philippines - Three Barangay Ginebra players face possible sanction even before the start of the new season after figuring in a brawl in their tune-up match with a visiting Korean team at The Arena in San Juan last Wednesday.

Willy Wilson, Ronald Tubid and Enrico Villanueva will to be summoned by the PBA Commissioner’s Office, according to league operations chief Rickie Santos.

The three Gin Kings were seen in a video figuring in the fight that marred the game won by the Koreans, 88-75.

The fracas erupted after a collision on a screening play between Wilson and a Korean defender.

The burly Ginebra forward shoved the Korean on the back of his head then pandemonium broke loose.
