Del Rosario, Sy, Cham dominate architects bowl

MANILA, Philippines - Ron Sy, Noel del Rosario and Jerry Cham of Boysen Paint ruled the Group 1 crown in the Architects Bowling Club’s all-event three-man team at the Green Valley lanes in Pasig City last week.

The trio pooled 2390 pinfalls to lead winners in the event organized by the ABC.

 Joan Mendoza, Bert Magsakay and Jimmy Ocampo of American Wires combined for 2036 to grab the Group 2 plum while the Medwest team of Edna Beltran Pinoy Cruz and Cora Adivoso rolled 1665 to pocket the Group 3 title.

Meanwhile, Romi de Jesus, Noel del Rosario and Walter Villanueva of Crown Pipes scored 2365 and Dante Manglicmot, Ronnie Javier and Nonoy De Jesus of Philflex Wires submitted 2232 to finish second and third, respectively, in Group 1 in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Tony Sabater, Tony Naval and Ryan Jalandoon of Philflex Cables came up with 1985 while Sandra Enriquez, Paul Ayson and Johnson Villanueva of Crown Supreme Pipes had 1884 to place second and third, respectively in Group 2. Meanwhile, action in the event, backed by Concrete Ventures, Famcor, DN Steel, Boysen Konstruct/Knoxout/Virtuoso, Supreme Steel Pipes Corp., ABC Phils., Duraflex, Euro Dach, SP & A Constructions, Atlanta Industries, Hocheng Phils, Universal Tech/Pansun, Emerald Vinyl, Firefly-ROYU and Unitec Pipes, resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of doubles event also at Green Valley lanes in Pasig City.
