Five Mandaue boxers have so far qualified for the finals, giving the bets from Cebu the lead in the race for the coveted trophy of the event supported by official airline Zest Air.
Danlou Codilla disputes the 46-kilogram crown with Jessel Magsayo of Tagbilaran; Lorenz Romarate battles Bernard Torres of Tagbilaran for the 48 kgs. title; Albert Pagara tangles with Bryan Inojales of Tagbilaran (51kgs.), Basilio Sultan collides with Mario Fernandez of Misamis Oriental (54kgs.); and Mark Bernaldez slugs it out with Robeth Tompong of Puerto Princesa (57kgs.).
