Lourdes, SBC score in SBP
MANILA, Philippines - Lourdes School and San Beda College posted easy wins to jumpstart their bids in Group B of the Small Basketeers Philippines tournament recently at the Xavier School gym.
Lourders thumped Ateneo-B, 47-25, while San Beda smothered La Salle Greenhills-A, 20-0, for their initial victory, respectively, in half of the Milo-sponsored twin SBP-Passerelle tournaments organized by the Best Center (Basketball Efficiency and Scientific Training) Center.
In Group C, it was Kids’ World Christian Academy over Marist-B, 41-31, and Xavier over La Salle-Zobel, 50-37. Group D saw Marist-A over Colegio San Agustin, 55-12, and Notre Dame of Greater Manila over University of the East, 53-50.
In Passerelle matches, it was Lourdes School of Mandaluyong over Antipolo Lady of Lourdes School, 67-51, and School of St. Anthony over Don Bosco-Makati, 70-68, in Group C; while it was Xavier over Notre Dame of Greater Manila, 90-40, in Group D.
