American Wires emerges No. 1 ABC team

MANILA, Philippines - Bowler of the week Jimmy Ocampo (887pf), Joey del Rosario and Ritz Diaz of American Wires combined for 2944 to emerge the top team in the week in the Architects Bowling Club’s Sponsors Cup at the Green Valley lanes in Pasig City last week.

After eight weeks of competitions in the event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints, the Universal Tech/Pansun team of Lino Diamante, Rocky Borja and Boy Roldan remained on top with 21181 followed by Crown Pipes Supreme (21040) and Boysen Konstruct (20900) in that order.

Rounding up the top 10 teams are Boysen Paints (20892), Philflex Cables (20820), Medwest Tech. Inst. (19641), American Wires (19574), Atlanta Tiles (19368), Duraflex (19129) and Nation Paints (19070).

Meanwhile, action in the event, backed by Concrete Venture, Famcor, DN Steel, Boysen Knoxout, Virtuoso, Crown Pipes, Supreme Pipes Corp., ABC Phils., ProActive Pest Control, Ta-tong, Euro Dach, Toto, Philflex Wires, Hocheng Phils., Emerald Vinyl, Firefly Royu, SP&A Construction and Unitec Pipes, resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of the monthly championship at the Playdium bowling lanes on Araneta Avenue, Quezon City.
