Penilla, Lopingco share Logremara golf honors
MANILA, Philippines - Transport undersecretary Sonny Penilla and Marjorie Lopingco bagged the major honors in the recent fifth Lopez, Quezon Greater Manila Residents Association (Logremara) Golf Cup for charitt held at the Alabang Country Country Club in Muntinlupa City.
A former Logremara president, Penilla captured the men’s Class A championship with net 73, besting Sid Banaria, who settled for net 74 and second place in the event meant to raise funds for the group’s annual medical mission and scholarship trust fund.
On the other hand, businesswoman Lopingco, an Alabang ladies’ team mainstay, captured the women’s crown with a net 72 in the tourney supported by PCSO, Stradcom, Ausphil Tollways, Eastern Petroleum, DPSPI, Office of Transportation Security, NGAP, and Unilab.
