MSA sweeps Hyundai Cup

MANILA, Philippines - The Manila Soccer Academy (MSA) swept the recent Hyundai Next Generation Football Cup Festival held last weekend at the Alabang Country Club.

The men’s and women’s teams of MSA beat separate opponents in the finals of the tournament sponsored by Standard Chartered, Lifeline Rescue, Wi-Tribe, Sonia Trading, McDonald’s, It’s Bout Time and Balls TV.

The women’s division saw MVP Carol Barrientos scoring the game’s lone goal against Far Eastern University (FEU) while in the men’s side, MVP awardee Ayi Nii Aryee and Patrick Yanik combined to give MSA a 2-0 victory over Sta. Rosa.

Third place in the men’s division of the tournament, organized by the MSA together with Pure Play Sports, went to Manhur United while Rizal Technological University also finished third in the distaff side.
