Caguioa, Miller grace one-on-one

MANILA, Philippines - Barangay Ginebra stars Mark Caguioa and Willie Miller will grace the finals of the Hi-Smart Last Man Standing One-on-One Basketball Challenge set this afternoon at the SM Mall of Asia’s Music Hall.

International Basketball Academy president Xavy Nunag said that the presence of the two one-on-one artists will prove to be very inspirational for the qualifiers who will vie for titles in the grade school, high school and open divisions.

“We are glad that Mark and Willie will join their numerous fans who are playing in the finals,”said IBA president Xavy Nunag, who added that Smart Gilas cagers Dylan Ababou and Mark Barroca will play in a celebrity one-on-one game to spice up the affair backed by Hi-Smart Multivitamins of the New Marketlink Pharmaceutical Corporation and SM Supermalls.

SM Supermalls top official Hans Sy will be on hand to award the trophies and cash prizes to the winners of today’s contests.

Making it to the grade school division finals are: Matthew Nieto, Pierce Jan Teramia, Joshua Montero, Romel Onggue, Michael Nieto, Miko Cheng, Jose Benito Vela and Michael dela Cruz.

In the high school division finals are: Kevin Oleodo, Andrei Caracut, Thadeus Laman, Kevin Ferrer, Russell Fernandez, Thirdy Ravena, Paolo Llaneta, Ralph Omampo, Nathan Natividad, Hero Tomilloso, Enzo Barraquias, Thristan Laman, Mak Pascua, Lanz Uy, Jasper Quijano and John Paul Bautista.

Comprising the open division finalists are Jean Panarada, Josel Suarez, Ian Lizada, Robert Bayaron, Gerold Canson, Miggy Solitaria, Bo Cummings, Erwin Duran, Gerald Reyes, Junnire Barrante, Mike Ramos, Roland Navarro, Edgardo Antig, Anton Altamirano and Jade Padrigao.
