Atlanta tops ABC's Sponsors Cup
MANILA, Philippines - May Sabater, Cynthia Tan and Benny Tan of Atlanta Pipes topped the fifth Sponsors Cup with Tan bagging the bowler of the week title with 915 pinfalls in the Architects Bowling Club at the Green Valley lanes in Pasig last week.
After the fifth week of competitions, Universal Tech/Pansun remained on top with 13512 followed by Boysen Konstruct with 13376 and Crown Supreme Pipes with 13146 in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.
Rounding up the top eight are Boysen Paints (13118), Philflex Cables (12620), Medwest Tech. Inst. (12194), Atlanta Pipes (12154) and Firefly-Royu (11896).
Meanwhile, action in the event, backed by Conc. Ventures, Famcor, DN Steel, Boysen Knoxout/Virtuoso, Supreme Steel Pipes Corp., ABC Phils., ProActive Pest Control, Duraflex, Ta-tong, Euro Dach, Toto, Philflex Wires, Hocheng Phils., Emerald Vinyl, American Wires, SP&A Const. and Unitec Pipes, resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of the sixth Sponsors Cup, also at the Green Valley lanes.
