Tanui, Maquilan best in San Mig Bay run

MANILA, Philippines - Willie Tanui and Maricel Maquilan won the centerpiece 15-km event of the San Mig Coffee Bay Run: Dash for Health 2010 at San Miguel by the Bay, SM Mall of Asia grounds recently.

Tanui clocked 49 minutes, 42 seconds while Maquilan timed one hour, 1 minute, 46 seconds to beat their rivals in the event backed by San Mig Coffee Pro-Health, a line of complete sugar-free coffeemixes enriched with functional ingredients for added health and wellness.

“We all know that there are a lot of people who are into running right now, and that running has already become part of their healthy lifestyle. We recognize this trend and we want San Mig Coffee Pro-Health to be the coffee partner of the health enthusiasts,” said Pam Marasigan of San Miguel Super Coffeemix Company Inc.

The event promoted San Mig Coffee Pro-Health variants San Mig Coffee Pro-Beauty with Collagen, San Mig Coffee Pro-Fiber with Inulin Fiber, San Mig Coffee Pro-Slim with L-Carnitine, and San Mig Coffee Pro-Power with Ginkgo Biloba. The event was co-presented by Magnolia Purefresh Low-Fat Cow’s Milk.
