Balls airs Liddell-Franklin UFC tiff

MANILA, Philippines - Balls Channel, the home of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), will telecast the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) history UFC 115: Liddell vs Franklin on June 13 starting at 10 a.m.

UFC 115 will be aired live from the General Motors Place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

UFC fans in Vancouver set a new record for the fastest sellout in history, with UFC 115 selling out tickets within 30 minutes of going on sale, breaking the previous record set by UFC 83.

UFC 115 will be the fourth UFC event to be held in Canada, following UFC 83, UFC 97 and UFC 113 and the first UFC event in British Columbia.

Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell has faced the best and beaten the best. With an amazing 10 knockouts in the UFC, with seven consecutive KOs in one stretch, Liddell is considered as one of the greatest strikers in UFC history.

With wins over Randy Couture, Tito Ortiz, Wanderlei Silva and Vitor Belfort, this UFC Hall of Famer has firmed up his name in the sport of mixed martial arts.

Rich “Ace” Franklin, the former UFC middleweight champion who boasts of 12 wins in the UFC, has moved up in weight class. Among his victims were Wanderlei Silva, Matt Hamill, Jason MacDonald and Nate Quarry.

Meanwhile, the limited edition UFC apparel and accessories are still available on the ABS-CBN store at the ground floor of ELJ Bldg. inside ABS-CBN in QC. The UFC bullcaps costs P350, men’s shirts P550 to P580, ladies’ shirts P500, sando P450, polo shirts P700 and bags P800 to P900.
