Coors Light sends lucky fan to NBA finals

-

MANILA, Philippines – All it took for Ma. Luisa Uyehara was to purchase a bucket of ice-cold beer at some restaurant in Quezon City.

The next thing Uyehara knew, she will be catching a flight to the US to watch the Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles — live — as both teams rekindle their rivalry in the 2010 NBA finals.

Uyehara, of Quezon City, is the lucky winner of the 3-Point Play Promo by Coors Light, the official beer of the NBA. Winning two tickets to the 2010 NBA Finals featuring the Celtics and the Lakers, she will be taking along her husband and drinking buddy Eric for an all-expenses-paid trip to the US from June 9 to 11 to see the action live.

All Uyehara did to win the much-coveted tickets was to order a bucket of Coors Light at a restaurant at the UP Technohub in Quezon City, after which she was given an NBA 3-Point Play coupon for the chance to win various NBA memorabilia and tickets to the 2010 NBA Finals.

Mr. Jim Wong, Molson Coors Business Developmental Director for Asia-Pacific, and Coors Light Brand Manager Ms. Leigh Magningas presented Uyehara her prize.

Now on their second year of a successful partnership, Coors Light and the NBA vow to continue bringing the greatest game on earth closer to Filipinos.

In fact, the NBA 3-Point Play will be extended on to the 2011 season, with a total of 3,600 NBA collectibles for grabs and four lucky people getting the chance to watch the next season opening live in the US.

Coors Light drinkers can participate in the contest by purchasing Coors Light buckets and six-packs. In more ways than ever, a single coupon will give its drinkers 3 separate chances to win NBA prizes.

They could also check out the official website of Coors Light, www.coorslight.com.ph, and its Facebook fan page for more details.
