Tonolete dominates bowling shootout

MANILA, Philippines - Gene Tonolete came through with a 2044 series to capture the Summer Bowling Shootout 2010 championship at the Eagle Ridge Golf and Country Club’s bowling lanes in Trece Martires, Cavite recently.

Tonolete, playing out of TBAM, showed superb form in toppling his rivals and dominating the one-day event to pocket the top P25,000 purse plus trophy. He also won the individual high-game award (255) worth P1,000.

El Ramirez of ITBA rolled 2006 to finish second worth P15,000 while Don Erot, also of ITBA, placed third with a 2002 and took home P10,000.

Anne Ramirez, also of ITBA, came in fourth with 1952 and received P5,000.
