Boxing, derby tonite at Elorde's

MANILA, Philippines - Boxing and a cock derby will be held tonight at the Elorde Sports Center on Sucat Rd. Parañaque.

˜Sportsman-businessman Johnny Elorde is presenting 10 bouts which pit Jomar Elorde vs Aljune Leonardo and Joram Ballar vs Christian Avila in the top main event.

The other fights feature Glenn Suminguit vs Brian Diano, Warlito Parenas vs Climer Mendoza, Rey Demingoy vs Arjet Caballes, Rene Patillano vs Joebert Marano, Christian Gonzales vs Jesame Dela Cerna, Orlan Vasquez vs Edcarl Gala, Jimmy Masangkay vs Rogie Cantos and Cris Paulino vs Norberto Sorio.

Meanwhile, a three-cock derby with a cash prize of P300,000 will start at 6 p.m. Entry fee is P5,500. The handler and the gaffer will receive P20,000 and P10,000, respectively.
