Better Living holds chess

MANILA, Philippines - The 29th edition of the first-Saturday non-master chess tournament (1950 below club rapid rating) will be held June 5 at Perez Building, Doña Soledad cor. Australia St., Better Living in Parañaque.

The event, organized by Barangay Don Bosco Chess Club (BDBCC) headed by Dr. Bong Perez, is sponsored by Mayor Florencio Bernabe, Vice Mayor Gus Tambunting, Congressman Roilo Golez, Barangay Don Bosco chairman Jun Virata, Hyper Mart, SM City Bicutan, Jollibee, Boy Francisco, Red Ribbon, Pizza Hut, Mang Inasal, Greenwich Pizza and Shakey’s Pizza.

The tournament will be supervised by Rolly Liñan, Bobot Rosanto Torres, Mario Perez of the National Association of the Philippine Chess Arbiters (NAPCA).
