A modern and very sophisticated expression of Japanese martial arts, aikido is a non-competitive discipline that offers both effective self-defense and spiritual self-mastery. Aikido is not just a method of self-defense but a way of life.
Fujimaki Shihan is a master teacher who has spent over two decades training in the art under the son and grandson of Morihei Ueshiba, founder of aikido. He has been to the Philippines several times before and counts many Filipino aikidokas as his friends.
This year, three local aikido federations – Filipino Federation of Aikido (FFA), Pilipinas Aikido Propagation Association (PAPA) and Aikido Philippines (AP) – have joined forces to host the seminar.
