MANILA, Philippines - Jessie Lacuna banners the Philippine team in the 34th Southeast Asian Age Group Swimming Championships set June 3-5 at the Trace Aquatic Center in Los Baños, Laguna.
The 16-year-old Lacuna, who won three gold medals in the 41st Singapore Age Group Swimming Championships, leads the RP team along with fellow Youth Olympic Games qualifying time achievers Banjo Borja, Jose Gonzalez, Jasmine Alkhaldi and Dorothy Hong.
Philippine Aquatics Sports Association (PASA) president Mark Joseph said the country will have 58 swimmers and 15 coaches in the swim meet.
A total of 261 swimmers from eight countries will compete in the meet, with Singapore, Thailand and host Philippines sending the largest delegations.
