MANILA, Philippines - To accommodate the big number of local and foreign entries, organizers of the World Slasher Cup-2 Hawaiian Invitational 8-Cock Derby have extended the listup to five more days.
The 47th World Slasher, slated May 31, June 1-5 at the Araneta Coliseum, is expected to post new record with 140 confirmed entries 12 days before the staging of the big event.
Hosted by the Pintakasi of Champions and co-presented by Thunderbird, the World Slasher features the solo champion in last January’s World Slasher Cup, Sonnie Magtibay, who will be seeking a back-to-back title romp after a sweep of eight matches.
Meanwhile, the Thunderbird and Araneta Coliseum’s Bigtime Ka sa World Slasher Cup raffle promo continues to attract participants with four grand prizes up for grabs.
