MANILA, Philippines - The University of San Carlos-South Campus in Cebu City will be the next venue for the SSI Sports Science seminar series following at the heels of a well-attended initial seminar held in Manila featuring foremost authorities on the subject matter.
Set on May 28-29, the seminar, sponsored by Phiten Philippines, TechnoGym, Gatorade, ASICS, Mueller, and Hi Smart and endorsed by the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC), will cover Sports Strength & Conditioning with Hercules Callanta and Pio Solon as resource speakers, Sports Injury management by Dr. Jose Raul Canlas, Sports Nutrition with Sanirose Orbeta, and Sports Psychology by Dr. Julian Montano.
Niño Sinco of the organizing LAN Sports & Events Inc., will also deliver a talk on Fluid Guidelines for Performance while Toti Ocampo and Lito Cinco, who both conduct team building workshops, will also dwell on related topics under Sports Psychology.
