Boysen Paints tops ABC sponsors cup

MANILA, Philippines - Paeng Villanueva, Greg Mare and Jerry Cham of Boysen Paints combined for 2705 to emerge the team of the week in the Architects Bowling Club’s fourth week of Sponsor Cup at the Green Valley lanes in Pasig City last week.

Romi de Jesus of Toto copped the bowler of the week plum by rolling a four-game series of 901.

After the fourth week of competitions in the event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints, the Universal Tech./Pansun team of Lino Diamante, Japp Soco and Boy Roldan remained on top with 10,821 followed by Boysen Konstruct (10746) and Boysen Paints in that order.

Rounding up the top 10 teams are Crown Supreme Pipes (10463), Medwest (10152), Philflex Cables (9896), Toto (9498), ABC (9421), Firefly (9372) and Atlanta Industries (9372).

Meanwhile, action in the event, backed by Concrete Venture, Famcor, DN Steel, Boysen Knoxout/Virtuoso, Crown Pipes, Supreme Steel Pipes Corp., ProActive Pest Control, Duraflex, Ta-tong, Euro Dach, Philflex Wires and Cables, Hocheng Phils., Emerald Vinyl, American Wires, SP&A Const. and Unitec Pipes, resumes at 4 p.m. today for the ABC anniversary tournament and at 7 tonight for the monthly championship, also at the Green Valley lanes.
