Pilipino Star Ngayon fun run listup ongoing
MANILA, Philippines - Registration for the first Pilipino Star Ngayon Fun Run for a Cause is ongoing with the roster expected to swell one week before the event is held on May 15 at the SM Mall of Asia grounds in Pasay.
Over a thousand entries have already signed up for the event, which features 3k, 5k and 10k races. Fees pegged at P350 (3k and 5k) and P400 (10k), inclusive of a limited edition of Pilipino Star Ngayon run singlet and race bib with timing chips and a donation to Operation Damayan.
Listup is ongoing at the R.O.X. Bonifacio High Street and Chris Sports outlets at SM MOA, SM North Edsa, SM Megamall and SM Sucat. On-site registration will also be available today at Music Hall of SM Mall of Asia from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Organized by Operation Damayan, the humanitarian arm of the STAR Group of Publications, the event is held to raise funds for this year’s Adopt-A-School project via “Bigay Todo sa Pagtakbo.”
The San Isidro Elementary School in Naguilian, La Union, one of the hardest hit schools in the north by Typhoon Pepeng last year, will be the event’s main beneficiary.
